Illinois Historic Landmarks Survey data forms, 1971-1975.

From 1971-1975, Illinois counties were searched for places that have important historical associations. Using the information from research and from local groups, surveyors compiled a list of sites and plotted them on maps, then set out to photograph and record them. Under the direction of Bill Farrar, data on approximately 12,000 sites was collected. Survey data forms are arranged by county and then in numerical order by an assigned site number.
